Latest LG G4 commercial teases superior display
Pretty much all new phones are coming with QHD displays nowadays. It certainly has become a trend, but just having a 2560x1440p resolution is not enough. What’s the point of an insane definition if the panel is no good? You also need good color reproduction, strong brightness and other properties that pertain to good displays.
Today’s new LG teaser revolves around the G4’s superior screen, which we got a glimpse of recently. LG touts 25% more brightness and 20% wider color range for its LG G3 QHD Quantum Display. Compared to the G3, that is.
Opinion: LG states “the difference is obvious”, but that is something we will see later when the phone is announced, on April 28th.
