ZTE Zmax Update

There have been, at post time here, one-hundred and sixteen pages of forum posts about it over at XDA (actually more, but Mods cleaned up some) — and there’s still no root method for it!

ZTE did, however, release the kernel source code.

And it was reported that in-store, MetroPCS has dropped the price to US$99.00. Amazing.

It seems T-Mobile won’t allow honest reviews of the phone at their site.

And for people who have problems playing music from the microSD card (the default player by Google won’t do it), Winamp will do it (but it’s no longer at the Play Store) — and so will the AIMP app, as a user confirms.
