iOS 13 Beta 2: What’s New | 30+ Changes

Apple has made a lot of minor changes in iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 and even added some new features. Since iOS 13 is still in developer beta stages, it is likely that Apple is focusing more on adding little new features and enhancing existing ones instead of fixing all the lingering bugs.
iOS 13 Beta 2: What’s New


The Files app now connects to SMB drives.


It now also supports external drives with APFS format.


iOS 13 now warns when you uninstall an app with an active subscription.


New Welcome Screen in the Calendar app.


High-Key Light Mono Lighting effect has been added to the Camera app.


There’s a new intensity slider for adjusting the portrait mode intensity as well.


New Memoji stickers.


Voice Control icon in status bar when enabled.


Downtime feature in Screen Time now syncs with Apple Watch.


Safari gains an automatic option to share a web page in PDF or Web Archive format. Depending on the app, the browser will automatically decide the best format.


New Welcome screen in the Apple Maps app.


Welcome screen in the Home app highlights the new HomePod features, including the ability to recognize multiple voices.


CarPlay now shows the album art.


Disable Countdown Sound while calling Emergency services.


Look around in Apple Maps now supports more cities.


Sort checklists automatically in Notes app.


Show Link Previews option in Safari is now available in beta 2.
