How to Bypass iCloud Activation Lock
Two reliable methods of bypassing activation lock on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch will be discussed in this section.
#1. DNS Method
The iCloud DNS bypass is an answer for “Is there a way to bypass iCloud activation lock?” by changing the activation path. It does this by changing the request path from Apple server to an iCloud DNS server, which would, in turn, allow your iPhone to be activated.
To use the DNS method, you need to first insert a SIM card into your iPhone tray, and follow these steps:
Step 1. Select your country and language.
Step 2. Click Wi-Fi Settings, and you’ll see ‘i’ letter beside the Wi-Fi network, press your iPhone Home button, then select ‘More Wi-Fi Settings’.
Step 3. Tap the ‘i’ button and “Configure DNS > Manual > +Add Server”. Enter the server address that matches your location below:
USA: 104.154.51.7
Europe: 104.155.28.90
Asia: 104.155.220.58
Rest of the world: 78.100.17.60
Step 4. Tap “Save < Back > Join this Network” tabs and choose your network. Enter the network password and click “Join”.
Step 5. Now, your device will try to activate, just click the ‘Back’ tab.
Step 6. Now, set up your iPhone as normal.
#2. iPhoneIMEI.net
iPhone IMEI is another way to bypass iCloud activation lock and remove the iCloud account from the iOS device. This online service takes about 3 to 6 days interval to complete, but there is no guarantee that it would unlock your iPhone.
Steps to bypass iCloud account using iPhoneimei.net:
Step 1. Log on to www.iphoneimei.net and select “unlock iCloud”.
Step 2. Get your iPhone IMEI number.
If your iPhone is activated: you can dial *#06# to get your iPhone IMEI number, or go to Settings > General > About > and scroll down to get your iPhone IMEI number.
If your iPhone is not activated: look for a little “i” icon on the activation screen and tap the button to get your IMEI number.
Step 3. In the boxes provided, enter your iPhone IMEI number, select your iPhone model, and click “Unlock now”.
Step 4. After making your payment, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and it will take 3 to 6 working days for your iPhone to be unlocked.
