UMI RENAMES AND MOVES THE TERM UPDATE FOR UMI AND UMI SUPER MAX

Soon Umi change its name to UMIDIGI. The beginnings of a new brand are not particularly successful, because the manufacturer has delayed the deadline to upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat for UMI and UMI Super Max.
Umi may no longer be one of those Chinese brands, which for the vast majority of customers is completely anonymous, however, difficult to talk here about international recognition. Business owners do not care, and promise to change the name. From next year, UMI will be called the UMIDIGI. The last smartphone old Umi brand is Z, and the first model of the new brand is to be UMIDIGI With Pro. This debut already 4 January and will be powered by MediaTek SoC helio X27. It is noteworthy that the UMI Z is a dual camera UMIDIGI and Z is Pro. A little strange policy. The beginning of a new brand is not the best, because Umi moved term update for UMI and UMI Super Max for Android 7.0 Nougat. Initially, the manufacturer said on 24 December, now is to be done after the New Year. Previously, the company's website appears on beta software for both models. The manufacturer reports that this decision stems from unexpected problems in the distribution of new software for Umi Plus. Source: UMIDIGI 2
