What Apple has to say about iPhone X Face ID Fail during Demonstration | It’s Interesting!

Remember the “Face ID” fail of the iPhone X in Apple event? Well actually it’s not!

Apple now has shared what exactly had happened in the event to Yahoo. According to the statement, the iPhone X that was used in the demo was used by several people before Craig Federighi. And when it did not recognized those people, it moved to a situation to enter a pass code.

Let us be clear this way: when someone tries to unlock an iOS device with a wrong Finger-Print for 5 times, it prompts to enter a pass-code – same is the case here. It already moved to a situation to enter a pass-code because of the wrong Face-ID of different people.

Here is how Apple explains the situation:

People were handling the device for stage demo ahead of time,” says a rep, “and didn’t realize Face ID was trying to authenticate their face.
