KP32 PLUS RK3368 Android 5.1 2GB RAM
I've had several TV boxes and RKXXXX devices, but I have not posted for a while.

Recently, My NVidia Shield TV had a hardware failure (I'm very sure it is Hardware, and not just the power brick). I am pursuing an RMA with them, but I was never really happy with the "Official" Android TV experience.

I'd like to come back the the generic Android Box OS -- Preferably with a plain (stock) Android experience as possible.

I've done a lot of shopping around, and my research shows that an RK3368 machine is probably best for me -- 3D games performance is more important that video playback (I do not even have a 4K TV yet.

I want android 5.1 or newer, 2GB RAM, and I like extra stuff like an LED display/clock -- and lots of ports. From my previous boxes, I have several gamepads, media keyboards, etc., so I do not care about the remote it comes with.

But I cannot find any screen shots/reviews/firmwares

Looks like a fairly generic RK3368 box, and perhaps similar to the Zidoo X6 (I'd be nice if I could put a Zidoo X6 firmware on it).

I'm also willing to take a chance and review it, but I want to know if anyone has heard of it (or what it is a clone/copy of). Obviously a F/W link would help me to make a decision to try it.

Recommendations? Warnings?

VKworld , The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is all set to launch its new smartphone named as VKWorld Crown V8 with some unique features and design. The advent in technology made things grow smaller. Computers, TV sets and portable memory devices were bigger in the past, but now have become reasonably smaller. How can cameras remain far behind? At the University of Stuttgart, German engineers have developed a camera that’s so small that it can even be injected inside a human body only with the help of a syringe.

The engineers used a 3D printer for developing this technology. They are hopeful that the new invention will prove to be “paradigm shift” in this tech. The camera invented by these engineers is in fact a micro-camera. So, you might certainly be curious to know how “big” it is. Here are the figures. The camera is only 120 micrometers, (nearly 0.004 inches) in width. And it has the capacity of grabbing images at a distance of even 3mm away. Once the images are captured, it can send back them to doctors through a 5.6-foot optical fiber.

If the camera is to be used, the doctors will first inject it inside the patient. It will send back the findings, of course, without triggering a lot of pain to them.

In May last, scientists from three universities came together to build an “ingestible origami robot”. This works like “magic” healing the patient from inside. Researchers at Tokyo Institute of Technology, University of Sheffield, England and Massachusetts Institute of Technologyhave developed this tiny robot. The robot is able to “unfold itself from a swallowed capsule and, steered by external magnetic fields, crawl across the stomach wall to remove a swallowed button battery or patch a wound.”

Fossil Q Founder smartwatch that was announced back in October with a few other accessorized watches has now received Android Wear 1.5 update. The latest Android Wear 2.0 update is yet-to-come but before that, Google is sending a minor update to almost all of its Android Wear smartwatches. Android Wear 1.5 update isn't the huge update as the Android Wear 2.0 which will offer a complete UX overhaul.

Android Wear 1.5 update is based on Android 6.0.1 update and contains only a few incremental tweaks. The Settings menu once again has started showing the restart option. Tiny computers like the Intel Compute Stick are, well… tiny. Their small enough to slide into a pants pocket, or to plug directly into the HDMI port of a TV or monitor to turn any display into a fully functional PC.
But the portability comes at a price: most PC sticks only have one or two USB ports, and only a handful of models have Ethernet jacks.
Japanese company Dospara has a solution: they’ve launched a docking station for PC sticks. The Dospara DG-STKLC sells for about $40 (in Japan).

Moto E3 passes Wi-Fi certification

Motorola is now expected to launch its 3rd-generation entry-level Motorola smartphone, the Moto E3 Power. While there are rumors floating around regarding this entry level Motorola smartphone, a leaked Wi-Fi certificate has confirmed that the handset is on its way. This certificate is issued by Wi-Fi Alliance. This new certification helpfully reveals both the branding and the model number of one E3 variant. This will be called Moto E3 Power and will have the model number XT1706. It also reveals that the handset will be running on the latestAndroid 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and 2.4 GHz band Wi-Fi. However, the certificate does not reveal any other information about the handset.


Earlier this month, the Moto E3 got Bluetooth certified as well.


This variant of the smartphone will be equipped with a 5.2-inch display carrying a 720 x 1280 HD resolution. It will be powered by MediaTek MT6735P chipset with a 1 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU. On the camera front it will feature an 8 MP rear camera along with a 5 MP selfie cam. It will also have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. The entire device will be backed by a 2750mAh battery. There will be a fingerprint scanner too for additional security.

It is quite possible that Lenovo might launch the Moto E3 probably in Asia where the Lenovo brand is better known than Motorola. And if rumours are to believed, it would come with aprice tag in the range of INR 7000, which would make it one of the most value for money offering.

This model is the i3 4GB Ram and 64GB mSATA, not supplied with a Licenced Windows. 
After running it up, had a version on win10 that I was not happy with, So dumped it for now and went the Win7 Route for a bit of a fiddle and ease it into a win10 update later.
mSATA is not of a you beaut super fast I feel as things take a little while to happen, more on this Techo stuff later. 

The Hystou Fanless is snappy to operate, but installing or doing things could be better. 

Wifi and Ethernet speeds all appear good at present with dloading bits and pieces,

Lenovo tablet with Snapdragon 625 spotted on TENAA

An 8-inch Lenovo tablet has been spotted on TENAA with a model number TB-8703N/F. The tablet seems to get official in two models with both of them sporting an 8-inch display with Full HD resolution. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with 2GB or 3GB RAM. The storage option is expected to be 16GB and 32GB with Android Marshmallow v6.0.1 on the software side.

The tablet is further listed to have a 4250mAh battery and weighs 334 grams with a thickness of 8.7mm. It also features both front and rear camera of unlisted megapixel counts but it is confirmed that the rear shooter also has an LED flash. As you can see that there is nothing interesting about the tablet and it seems to be another tablet in the market. But we would suggest you wait for official announcement from Lenovo to know the full details.

When I reviewed the MPow sports headphones, they were looped together with a very small little cord that barely fit around my head. Seems like a pretty decent solution to me, but we’ll know more soon as I’ll be doing a formal review on these earbuds in the coming weeks. The headphones are currently priced at $89, but coupon code LHSY knocks the price down to $49.

ZTE teases Nubia Z11 ahead of its unveiling

ZTE will finally make the nubia Z11 official. The unveiling event is happening tomorrow. But ZTE in the meantime has started teasing the upcoming phone. The teaser hints at a ‘bezel-less’ device. Also other text when translated says that the Nubia Z11 is lightning fast, and with the Snapdragon 820 chipset inside, the phone just might live up to that expectation.

The technical specifications are still officially under wraps, but according to the reports circulating online some of the important details regarding its hardware have been unveiled that give us a better understanding of the upcoming device.

The ZTE Nubia Z11 will feature a 5.2-inch display with a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution. It will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 chipset. The device will feature 6 GB of RAMalongwith 128 GB of internal storage, although there’s no word on whether there will be a microSD card slot for capacity expansion. A 21MP camera can be found on the rear, with an8MP shooter located in front for selfies and video chats. The entire device will be backed by a3000 mAh battery.

Anyway, we will find out for sure what's inside the ZTE nubia Z11 when ZTE unveils the device on Tuesday, June 28th at 6am Eastern Time (3am Pacific Time).

But the company is already working on something new and the EleCam Explorer Elite should be soon the new king of the hill. The new model should be using the same NT96660 chipset and is going to support the 4K video shooting with 24 fps. As the camera sensor there will be the Sony IMX078.

Elephone are quite positive about the new model and they claim that both in performance and price the EleCam Explorer Elite will be the dominant force on the market. Let’s see if they manage to fullfill such bold claim.

UMi, the smartphone company has gained user attention in the market for a couple of years.Last week the company has announced UMi Super EURO2016 Edition, UMi fans across the world has shown great interest and the company has proposed to launch a champion edition.

The company will make this possible by joining crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter which is one of the crowd-funding leaders in the US. Leaked images of the Champion Edition shows a golden EURO2016 logo at the back of the phone. Imoo’s pilot smartphone surfaces online in renders

A few days ago, we had reported to you about a new brand, Imoo, being launched by the owners of Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus. And in less than one hundred hours, we have the renders of this phone online. The phone has cropped on Weibo, or should we say its renders.

The images posted below show the handsets in a generic look that have a few outside features that can be credited to the company’s previous sister companies.


As we had mentioned in our earlier report is that the phone is tagged as the first educational smartphone in the world. And the #learningphone is the very proof it. It’s an educational phone is immediately evident from the faces of the phones. They show various objects all related to school and learning like books and a few educational images.

Now this is what the company is doing with the ELE UI by developing it. Elephone engineers have tested the device for months and now it’s ready to see the day light. ELE Launcher now posses custom app icons when compared to Android original UI. It doesn’t have app drawer and has an improved ease of use and visual aesthetics. LeEco’s upcoming flagship LEX720 AnTuTu benchmark leaked

From last few weeks we have been hearing rumours of a new flagship smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer LeEco formally known as LeTV. Initially, we heard about the device having upcoming SD 823 as Soc now we have rumours of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 Soc inside.

The aforementioned chipset is the upgraded version of the current top of line Snapdragon 820 flagship Soc. The SD 821 will be clocking at a higher speed up to 2.5GHz. Today the upcoming LeEco flagship smartphone appeared on AnTuTu, thanks to it we have a good idea of what upcoming device will be having on board for its customers.

The model number of the device appeared on the benchmark is LEX72o and is being powered by the unknown Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8996 Pro Soc which will be unveiled either as Snapdragon 821 Soc or as Snapdragon 823 Soc.

Ok just got the box today. First Impression awsome ui/ awsome boot screen/ now into the box. The manufacture I think tried to hard re the kodi updater (garbage) 4 HOURS TO DOWNLOAD as well (ill never get those hours back.) your best to blow the kodi updater and kodi off system re install 16.1 from kodi site. disable rk excel in kodi and frame drops go from huge to nothing see screens. Updated to latest 614 and wifi blew out so went back to one Trebor provided and wifi worked fine actually its very quick. So use 610 not 614. The ui is very fast video plays very well and like the colour in videos. tested a few apps they all work fine.

The manufacture should have spent more time on the playstore issues and lets face it if your going to do all the work on the boot screen get at least playstore to load most updated version and working That would have made this box a 9 out of 10 instead of the 7 out of 10 it got. They should lose KODI name period.... Lose the addons for loading into kodi--- alot better ways out there and it wont take you 4 hours. add on that when addons load there are a host of major errors and bugs. and allowing tv addons as one of the set up features is so poorly done it would have been better just to have basic set up and most up to date verion working fine. adding free tv apks isnt something a reputable manufacture should do, And if i am not correct they already got notice re Kodi infridgement (not that any of these manufactures care much...

All in this box is fast fun few glitches with playstore updating and app cocompatibility issues (antutu 3d and few others not compatible.) But that may be just a build prop issue.
No Mouse lag usb and sd card works fine (its the older style and cheaper so works for me i can use some of my 32 gig large sd cards for it.) The lights looks nice and i am still playing with them looks like a mod may have to come for that for sure (saturday night fever disco strobe? looks like they have a bit of lean back (ATV) code in the system settings kinda funky but i didnt find any value to it until i seen few options not in main settings windows so just wondering why they added it? cec control and few others in there working well remote works well but needs some fine tuning from manufacture.

Would I recommend this box Yes of alot of 905 devices this one seems to have limited issues but it does have a few bugs that manufacture should review. (I never get why play store isnt the latest version working out of the box its been a long time since they updated it!!! )

If they fix the Kodi and play store issues will be a killer box that just works when it arrives now theres a concept ay folks

I love the boot /ui/speed/bluetooth and network all working well.... cost to bring in and duty cost about 100 Canadian/ by the time exchange so I am not disapointed and look forward to see what manufacture does wih updates and if they clean the kodi updater and installer from system and fix play store issues.

How many times have we listened to the fact that the rear of Apple iPhone 7 will possess the dual camera setup.
